Job Overview
As a key member of our Global Marketing team, the Global Web Strategy Manager will be responsible for development and management of the strategic vision of Imation’s web presence. The individual appointed to this role will have the opportunity to shape and change the way the organization engages and interacts with our customers and consumers online. The Web Strategy Manager will work closely with brand and product marketing teams in each region of the world to develop and execute the strategic vision of the online business opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • As a global strategist, evangelize and drive evolution to innovative web culture and corporate landscape
  • Bring industry web industry learning to Imation.
  • Drive thought leadership in the internet arena for Imation.
  • Direct web agency selection and relationship.
  • Develop relationships (internal and external) & manage strategic direction and decision-making
  • Translate high level business goals and requirements into integrated web strategy for complex environments including web sites, email marketing, online communities, and web based tools
  • Bridge the gap between Marketing and IT to develop integrated business plan and site roadmap and to measure the impact to the business
  • Work closely with agencies and internal stakeholders on strategic projects that will enhance the capabilities, functionality and value of our presence online
  • Lead high-profile programs to deliver against strategy
  • Provide high-level consultation to all business units/teams using web as communication, task or engagement vehicle

Qualifications
Skills
  • Five or more years experience directing web strategy and vision .
  • Passionate, innovative thought leader
  • Deep understanding of existing and emerging web technologies, future landscape of web
  • Deep understanding of information retrieval and content management technology
  • Deep understanding of digital asset management
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, as well as strong public speaking background
  • Able to actively and successfully collaborate and communicate in a cross-functional, virtual, global team
  • Strong analytic background
  • Passionate about results
  • Embraces and exploits emerging technologies/opportunities to gain a competitive communications advantage
  • Ability to influence and gain commitment at all organizational levels.
  • Successful candidate must demonstrate first-hand experience with eBusiness, eCommerce, web application development, and other B2B and B2C solutions.
Education
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent - Required
  • Bachelors Degree - Required
  • Masters Degree - Preferred
Experience
  • 5-10 Years - Required
