Job Overview

As an Oracle Business Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the Imation end-user community in their use of Imation’s IT systems related to a specific business function in North America. In addition to demonstrated competence in one of the applications, you must also have a broader understanding of operational business objectives. Objectives Candidate will drive requirements, work with technical team, and provide support for Order Management module of Oracle E-Business Suite. Expectations Serve as one of the functional application experts on the module(s) assigned. Participate in several projects to improve effieciencies across Imation's global Supply Chain. Provide functional guidance to users and super users for one or more of the application/module(s)/package. Participate in and/or develop business solution designs to ensure that the most appropriate and effective solutions are implemented to support Imation business objectives. Provide guidance to technical programmers for application setup and application design. Provide input for custom design, development expertise to resolve custom issues To provide support as required to define, and design custom interfaces to third-party applications Help evaluate solution designs to ensure that the most appropriate and effective solutions are implemented. Responsibilities Participate in the development and creation deliverables, i.e. Operations analysis, solution design (conference room pilot), build (systems integration testing) and implementation support as they relate to the overall Imation application implementation. Provide guidance to the users regarding the utilization and implementation of the application software of the assigned module(s). Participate in project meetings and provide input and direction for assigned modules as it relates to the overall software integration and implementation. Ensure that solution alternatives are provided to allow the users and business owners to evaluate the solutions whenever cost or schedule may be impacted by a specified solution. Provide routine project reporting (feedback) in both written and oral communication forms as defined by the project lead. Evaluate setup documents to identify conflicts between customer requirements and optimal setup of the application. Provide after hours system support for production related issues.

Qualifications

Preferably knowledge of appropriate business processes/application systems Preferably 1-3 years of experience on one or more Oracle core modules as applicable for assigned application/module(s).
