The purpose of the position is to assist with the financial analysis, management, and undertaking of all treasury functions, including foreign exchange risk management, debt compliance, corporate finance activities, and real estate analysis. This position will also have an active role in supporting the growth and development of the corporate treasury function as a strategic hub of Imation’s worldwide treasury activities. This position reports to the Treasurer.
Objectives
- Identify, monitor and manage all foreign exchange risk exposures
- Analyze and report on effectiveness of foreign exchange hedging program
- Assist with the implementation of short-term corporate cash flow forecasts.
- Monitor compliance in conjunction with Imation’s credit facility
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, including leveraging technology such as global treasury workstations, Oracle Treasury module and others
- Provide analytical support to evaluate corporate real estate initiatives, debt management, and cash investment opportunities
- Various treasury related projects including evaluation of bank product implementations and improving existing processes
- Perform accounting and reconciliations related to treasury functions

Skills
- 5+ years of corporate treasury, finance, accounting or related banking experience.
- University degree in finance, accounting or related field. MBA, CPA, or CFA charterholder preferred.
- Global treasury experience and knowledge of foreign exchange concepts and instruments is desirable.
- Working knowledge of debt instruments/terms is desirable.
- Advanced PC skills (Microsoft Office) and comfort with banking systems, web-based applications and treasury workstations.
- Strong organizational skills and accuracy are essential.
- A self-starter who takes ownership of responsibilities and works well in a cross-functional environment.
- Ability to work independently to meet daily workflow deadlines as well as longer term project deadlines.
- Professional attitude, excellent verbal and written skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.

- High School Diploma or Equivalent - Required
- Bachelors Degree - Required (Accounting, Finance)
- Masters Degree - Preferred
