In addition to the Imation brand, Imation’s global brand portfolio includes the Memorex and TDK Brand Recording Media Brands. We seek a Marketing Communications Specialist to focus on global marketing communications development for new product introductions and ongoing product portfolio support, with an emphasis on new commercial products and the portfolio areas of solid state drives, external and removable hard drives, and computer peripherals. Qualified candidates must be experienced in Communications and Public Relations, and have a passion for brand development and communications excellence. Responsibilities

The qualified candidate will demonstrate the following: *** Minimum 5 years experience in integrated marketing communications. *** Bachelor's degree required (Journalism, English, Marketing preferred). *** Proven ability to develop and recommend integrated branding and communications strategies linked to corporate, business, and product strategies. *** Demonstrated ability to develop and implement complex branding and communications programs, including product launches. *** Experience in developing on-line and off-line integrated media and PR plans with Marketing Communications Agencies, and ability to maintain strong working relationships with strategic Agency partners. *** Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply product positioning, branding, and corporate identity concepts across all branding and marketing communications disciplines *** Exceptional writing skills with demonstrated ability to discern key messages and distill complex concepts into audience-specific communications, including press releases, executive presentations, key message, Q-and-A and media briefing materials, web copy, sales and customer collateral copy, and advertising copy. *** Strong public speaking, interview management, and spokesperson capabilities. *** Demonstrated knowledge of trademark and legal considerations for communications activities. *** Cross-functional leadership and facilitation skills *** Ability to team quickly and effectively with a variety of people and agencies. *** Commitment to meet all deadlines with highest quality deliverables with constant attention to budget adherence. *** Strong project management skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities. *** Demonstrated knowledge of market segment products, competitors, and industry landscape. *** Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply product positioning, branding, and corporate identity concepts across all branding and marketing communications disciplines Education
