Job Overview

We have a solid history upon which we’re building a remarkable future! Our fast-paced, high-expectation environment seeks a talented Lead Product Marketing Specialist for Video.

Responsibilities
  • The Product Marketing Managert will be responsible for setting the strategic vision and product direction to position IEP as a market leader within Consumer Video markets. This position will oversee, lead and set directives for Product Marketing (outbound/inbound), Product Management (cradle to grave) and New Product Definition and Introduction.
  • Responsible for the development and delivery of a business plan that defines short and long-term objectives, advance IEP's position within the Consumer Video market.
  • Drive the development of product lifecycle and product management programs from concept through development, marketing, distribution and sustaining support phases.
  • Play a key role in tracking competitive moves, market feedback, and determine appropriate positioning and features to sustain competitive advantage in target segments.
  • Work closely with sales, customers, engineering and manufacturing to assure product issues are prioritized and resolved.
  • Develop and oversee the preparation of promotional materials including presentations, brochures, white papers and other marketing collateral.
  • Meet with partners/customers to assess product roadmaps and feature/benefit attributes of new products, and develop relationships where appropriate.
  • Responsible for developing relationships in all cross-functional areas and interacting with senior management.
  • Plan, implement and track channel and retail programs to increase sell in and sell through of products.
  • Provide PR and Marcom support involving specifications, in-depth technology support and presentations.
  • Qualifications:
  • The successful candidate must be a hands-on self-starter who can assume broad responsibility in a dynamic business setting.
  • Must be competent decision-maker who can inspire and motivate others. High standard of excellence, results, orientation, flexibility and openness to change.
  • Minimum of 7 years experience managing a product marketing/management function within the consumer electronics industry.
  • Minimum of 7 years marketing experience successfully targeting retail, distribution, reseller, and office superstore channels.
  • Lifecycle product management experience with major product programs, from concept through development, marketing, distribution and sustaining support phases.
  • Strategic mindset with heavy involvement in execution and delivery of results.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal as well as presentation skills.
  • Strong customer skills with the ability to build relationship at top levels.
  • Ability to develop relationships in all cross-functional areas and with senior management.
  • Ability to manage small groups, drive projects, and collaborate with a wide variety of people across functional personnel.
  • Strong financial acumen with previous experience managing P&L.
  • Must be able to assimilate broad range of data, draw meaningful conclusions and define a coherent strategic direction - this requires strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Qualifications
Education
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent - Required
  • Bachelors Degree - Required (Marketing-- Brand Mgmt, Marketing-- Product Dev. / Product Mktg.)
Experience
  • 5-10 Years - Required
