An Industry First!   Imation's new inkjet printable CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs with AquaGuard™ surface offer a powerful new advantage—the ability to print fast-drying custom graphics that won't wash away and are smudge and smear-resistant right from CD/DVD inkjet duplicating equipment or desktop disc printers, and Blu-ray disc players and recorders.

The AquaGuard surface features a proprietary nanoparticle coating that grips and holds the ink to lock images in place exactly where they are applied. No more waiting for ink to dry before CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs can be handled safely. A new whiter, brighter surface makes the images pop, and the surface uniformity from the hub to the disc edge minimizes hub shading, thus maximizing design flexibility.

Brilliant from hub to edge.* Imation's white inkjet printable media with AquaGuard surface allows maximum graphic design and reproduction, minimizing typical CD and DVD hub area shading and maximizing design flexibility. Compatible with leading duplicators and desktop printers from Primera, Condre, Epson and Primera Bravo XR-Blu Disc Publisher.		Traditional printable media offers the same hub to edge coverage, and offers high-quality duplicates from most home desktop disc printers/duplicators. Available in inkjet and thermal formats.
Imation's AquaGuard surface is resistant to smearing or bleeding when exposed to water or humid environments. CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs can be handled safely right off the printer with brilliant graphic reproductions.		A traditional inkjet printed disc requires more dry time and is susceptible to smearing or bleeding when exposed to moisture.

While the AquaGuard surface is water resistant, it is recommended to protect the surface from colored liquids (such as coffee or soft drinks). White areas of the surface may stain with prolonged exposure. It is recommended to keep all optical discs, including AquaGuard discs, in jewel cases or other storage methods to protect the disc from day-to-day wear and tear and environmental deterioration. System Compatibility
As a result of our testing and qualification processes, you can be assured that Imation inkjet printable CDs and DVDs with AquaGuard™ surface are compatible with leading inkjet duplicators and desktop printers from Canon, Condre, Epson and Primera. And, Imation inkjet printable discs are compatible with Blu-ray disc players and recorders, including the Primera Bravo XR-Blu Disc Publisher.
