Imation Stealth Keys and Defender F Series (except F50) have thixotropically injected magnesium enclosures, the first of their kind in the industry. Imation Stealth Hard Drive and Defender H Series are enclosed by extruded aluminum, while Imation Stealth Key M200 and Imation Stealth Key M500/Defender F100 are housed in a durable, impact-resistant ABS plastic. Imation Stealth Key M-series and Imation Defender F-series devices are waterproof and dustproof thanks to an impervious silicone rubber seal.
TAMPER-EVIDENT ENCLOSURES
Ultrasonic welding is used on the tamper-evident enclosures of many models. Additionally, a one-way latching system on metal-bodied Imation devices means that the parts fit together on assembly but are impossible to disassemble without revealing the intrusion.
