• "Recertification" cannot detect what environmental factors the cartridge may have experienced.
• "Recertification" cannot predict if past mishandling will cause future problems.

These events range from wearing out the cartridge with normal usage to exposing the cartridge to abnormal stress conditions, damage, or debris.
