What does it mean to acclimate my media? How do I do it?

To acclimate media means to let the media be in an environment that is the same temperature and humidity as the operating environment. If your media has been exposed to temperatures/humidities outside the manufacturer’s recommended operating environment, it is a good idea to acclimate the media to the operating environment 24 to 48 hours prior to using it.
